A well-known actress from Nigeria, Ngozi Nwosu, recently shared a story about her struggles during a tough time in her life.
During a chat with Nollywood on Radio, Ngozi, who was born in Abia State, told everyone how disappointed she was when her state did not stand by her during her illness.
“I’ve made up my mind that I’ll never do anything for free for Abia State,” she explained.
“They will have to pay a lot if they want my help. I am from the Arochukwu area in the state.”
She continued, “The only reason I got help was because of the fame I gained from acting. Someone who liked me as an actor asked the Lagos state government to help me because I was special to her.”
It’s worth noting that back in 2012, the 61-year-old actress was sick with a kidney problem and needed a lot of support.
