Must Read

Six men are with the police in Niger State because they took big electric wires and street lights in Minna. This is a big no-no!

The police caught them while they were driving around the Keteren-Gwari area in Minna. They were just doing their job, looking out for trouble, and then found these men doing something wrong.

The police officer in charge, SP Wasiu Abiodun, explained, “On October 27, 2024, around 3 pm, police officers and some helpers spotted these men acting suspiciously while on their regular patrol.”

These men, Umar Mustapha (40), Idris Abdullahi (20), Mahmud Mohammed (37), Musa Zakari (42), Aliyu Musa (60), and Salihu Musa (45), all live near Keteren-Gwari, Minna.

The police said the men worked together to break the lights and steal the wires along Keteren-Gwari Road.

When the police talked to them, the men admitted they did it, and the police got back some of the wires from them.

SP Abiodun also talked about two other men, Mohammed Hassan (22) and Isah Mohammed (20), who took a red motorcycle. They are also from Minna’s Kpakungu area.

These two men were found and caught with the motorcycle in the Obasanjo complex area in Minna early in the day on October 22, 2024. They were planning to sell it far away.

SP Abiodun added, “They told us they took the motorcycle from the Tunga area in Minna and wanted to sell it in Mokwa. We are still looking into this.”
