FCT: Police Neutralize 10 Kidnappers, Apprehend 9 Suspects

Must Read

The police in Abuja have been very busy. They caught nine bad people and stopped 10 more in special missions to find where the kidnappers were hiding. These places were not just in Abuja, but also in nearby states.

Mr. Olatunji Disu, the boss of the police in Abuja, told everyone about this on Monday. He said the police had a special team that went into creepy forests where kidnappers were hiding. Some of these forests were called Kweri and Gauraka, in states named Kaduna and Niger.

In these actions, they found six people who are suspected of doing very bad things. They had done many robberies and kidnapped people from some areas in Abuja. Mr. Disu said these six people were part of a big group that did bad things. Their leader was caught during the police visits to the forests.

He explained that when the police went into the bad guys’ areas, there was a big, loud fight. The leader of the bad guys and eight others were stopped during this. But, sadly, two police officers got hurt and are now being taken care of in the hospital.

Smart police work showed that the people who were kidnapped were hidden in several places in the forests of Gidan Dogo, Gauraka, Kweri, and Kachia in Kaduna State. Mr. Disu also mentioned that the team found some powerful weapons like rifles and bullets from the bad people. The police are working hard to find the rest of the gang.

Additionally, he shared that the police caught three more wanted bad folks. These people were known for kidnapping and being part of a group that hurt people. They were causing trouble in places with names like Dnapoyi village and Mpape village.

The police found some more rifles and bullets with these suspects too. Now, they are working to make sure the leader who was caught will stop causing any more harm.
