Remo Stars’ coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, felt happy when his team started winning again.
The team, known as the Sky Blue Stars, won against Bendel Insurance with a score of 1-0. This game happened on the eighth matchday at the Remo Stars Stadium on Sunday.
Coach Ogunmodede said that winning this game was important, especially after they lost badly to Nasarawa United earlier in the week.
“It’s a step forward, and these three points are very important for us,” Ogunmodede shared on social media platform X.
Remo Stars are now leading the NPFL table with 18 points from eight games.
In their next league match, the Sky Blue Stars will play against Heartland in Owerri.
