Thieves Target Abia Government Schools, Stealing Roofing Sheets

Must Read

A helper to Governor Alex Otti, named Ferdinand Ekeoma, is very worried. Some people are stealing metal things from the government which they should not do.

One place they took things from is a school called Mission Hill Urban School. Here, they took away the roof and iron windows. These thieves are known as Ndi Akpakara.

Another place affected is the road called Aguiyi Ironsi Boulevard in Umuahia. At night, bad people take the covers off the holes on the road. They want to sell these things to get money. But when they do this, the road becomes unsafe for cars and people.

Ferdinand is sad because these bad people harm the town’s safety. When it rains, people can fall into big holes they can’t see because the covers are missing. This can hurt them or they can even die.

The government is trying hard to fix schools so children have a nice place to learn. They don’t want thieves to spoil these plans. The government wants schools to be safe and good for kids.

The helper warns that the government will catch those working with or helping the thieves. They ask everyone to tell them if they see anyone breaking things or stealing. They want the community to help keep things safe.
