The police in Lagos have shared some sad news. A top police officer in Ijanikin, CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, has died.
Benjamin Hundeyin, who talks to the public for the police, told everyone about this on Friday night.
He didn’t share more details about how or why the officer died.
Earlier reports from the News Agency of Nigeria said that the officer was at his office when he suddenly fell down. People tried to help him, but he was already gone before they could get him to a doctor.
His death made everyone at the police station very sad.
A person from that police station said that they have moved the officer’s body to a place called a mortuary, where it will be taken care of.
