Three people got hurt in a big boom at a gas station. This happened at a place called Eyean on the Benin-Auchi road in a part of Edo State called Uhunmwonde.
The big boom happened one morning while a car was being filled with gas at the station. This car used a special kind of gas called CNG.
The boom happened because some parts used to change the car from gasoline to gas were not good. These parts were fake and not strong enough.
A short video shows the car got broken after the boom.
In the video, someone says, “There was a big boom at the gas station!”
The person in the video also says the car driver was there to get gas when the boom happened.
They say the car driver and a person who put the gas kit in the car came to check if the kit worked fine when the boom happened.
They heard that three people got hurt: one clean-up person, one person who gives gas to cars, and another person. They went to the hospital to feel better.
We also heard that the man who fixed the gas kit told the police about the boom and took them to the place where it happened.
A person who saw everything said the boom was because of a bad gas tank used to change the car from normal fuel to gas.
This person said, “If you look, the gas tank used is not the same as the tanks used for CNG.”
