Alleged N10m Pardon Deal: Bobrisky Responds to Falana’s Ultimatum, Denies Defamation Accusation

Must Read

Idris Okuneye, who many know as Bobrisky, is a famous figure who likes to dress up in different clothes. Recently, he talked about some strong words he received from two people: a lawyer named Femi Falana and his son, a singer called Falz.

These two, Femi Falana and Falz, told Bobrisky on a Wednesday, October 16, 2024, that he had to take back some rude things he said about them. They gave him only 12 hours to do it! They pointed this out after hearing some audio shared by someone called VeryDarkMan.

When Bobrisky heard about this, he quickly went on Instagram, where he usually talks to his fans, and said he didn’t say bad things about Falana and Falz. Bobrisky said he wouldn’t say sorry or take back his words.

In his Instagram message, he wrote, “I saw the letters going around from Mr. Falana and his son’s lawyer team. Just so you know, until my own lawyer replies, I must say I, Okuneye Idris, also known as Bobrisky, didn’t make any bad statements about Mr. Falana and Falz.”

He added that he had already told his lawyer this wasn’t his fault on September 27, 2024. Bobrisky insists, “I didn’t do anything wrong. Anyone who got hurt should go after the person who shared those bad stories. My private talks must stay private!”

This drama happened a few days after a big court in Lagos told VeryDarkMan to remove hurtful videos about Falana and Falz in 21 days. Everyone has been talking about this story since VeryDarkMan shared those secret jail discussions of Bobrisky in September 2024.

Earlier, on September 24, 2024, VeryDarkMan gave out a voice recording. In this, Bobrisky was heard telling how Falz reached out to him during his jail time, trying to get some presidential help with his dad’s influence.

There were also talks about a huge sum of money, N15 million, allegedly given as a bribe to make the police and money experts drop charges of moving suspicious money against Bobrisky.

Plus, there were claims about special payments to have Bobrisky stay in a fancy part of jail instead of a regular cell.

Bobrisky got in trouble when he was arrested for moving suspicious money and damaging Naira bills by the EFCC last April.

After one court in Lagos decided to drop those money-moving charges, Judge Abimbola Awogboro said Bobrisky should spend six months in jail for damaging Naira bills.
