Helping Seasonal Workers
Italy also wants to protect workers who only work part of the year, like in farms and hotels. In 2025, they will give out 93,550 seasonal work visas, more than the 89,050 last year.
Prime Minister Georgia Meloni is worried that bad people are charging up to €15,000 for work visas. To stop this, Italy is working with countries like Bangladesh to fight human trafficking.
