The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 9, Kellyrae, talked about his wife Kassia’s family being upset. They didn’t like that their manager chose to support him more than her on the reality show.
The couple, called DoubleKay, shared the same manager when they entered the house. But when the game changed and they had to play alone, the manager decided to help Kellyrae more than Kassia. In an interview after Kassia left the show, she said the choice made by the manager was right. But, she also said her family didn’t agree because they felt her husband was favored more than her.
In a recent chat with Naija FM in Lagos, Kellyrae responded to these feelings from his wife’s family. He felt they shouldn’t be upset about the manager’s decision.
Host: “Kassia’s family isn’t happy because your manager chose to support you instead of her.”
Kellyrae: “Yes, they are not pleased. But they should remember she is now my wife.”
Kellyrae and Kassia were boyfriend and girlfriend for ten years before they got married, which was eight months ago.
