Moses Simon, a player who runs fast on the soccer field, wants to tell the Super Eagles soccer team something important. He says that playing soccer in Africa is never easy.
Moses Simon plays for a big team called Nantes. He is talking to us because Nigeria, his team, has to play an important soccer match in 2025. This match is called the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier. They will play against another team called Libya. The game will happen at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday.
Moses is 29 years old now. He reminds everyone in his Super Eagles team to play strongly and do their best to win against Libya. He wants them to work hard and not think it will be easy.
He said, “Some people might think this game will be simple, but in Africa, there is no simple game, not even when we play for our clubs,” Moses told Onrise TV.
He adds, “We need to work hard and do our best to win this game.”
