Benue: LP Candidate Enenche Urges Cancellation of Ogbadibo Local Government Election

Must Read

Adoyi Williams Enenche, who wanted to be the leader for Labour Party in a town called Ogbadibo in Benue State, is asking for a do-over of the election. He says there was no voting in his area because nobody was there to help people cast their votes.

Enenche and his team waited at a place called Adupi Orokam Ward 1, but they didn’t see any officials or election workers there to start the voting.

He also talked to his helpers who were in other parts called Owukpa, Orokam, and Otukpa. They all said the same thing—no voting happened anywhere in Ogbadibo.

On Thursday, Enenche shared his feelings about what happened on Saturday. He said it wasn’t fair to the people in Ogbadibo and it wasn’t fair to all of Nigeria’s democratic rules and ideas.

Someone important named Senator Abba Moro also agreed and called the election a big mistake. He said it was a pretend election that made the people in Ogbadibo upset because they couldn’t vote like they should have been able to.

Because of all these problems, Enenche wants the election results to be thrown out. He believes there should be a new, honest election so everyone in Ogbadibo can vote properly.

Enenche asks Governor Hyacinth Alia, a good and fair man, to cancel the first election and make sure there’s a new one. He says it’s the governor’s job to show the people of Benue State that he believes in democracy and fairness by making this right.
