The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is looking for new recruits! They want smart and talented people to join as officers. This is for those who have completed their university or college studies.
Starting October 14, 2024, if you want to apply, you can do it all online for free! Just go to the official website: www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng. But, hurry up! The last day to apply is November 26, 2024.
Before you apply, make sure you carefully read what fields they are looking for. Only one application is allowed, so double-check everything before you click submit! If you make a mistake or try to apply more than once, you won’t be accepted.
Who Can Apply?
To join, you need to meet these rules:
- You should be tall enough: 1.66 meters if you’re a man and 1.63 meters if you’re a woman.
- You must be healthy, both in body and mind.
- If you have ever been convicted of a crime, then you cannot apply.
- For most people, you should be between 20 and 30 years old. But if you’re a Medical Consultant, you can apply if you’re between 25 and 40 years old.
It’s very important to meet all these requirements, or else you cannot join.
What Do You Need?
You need to have at least a Second Class Upper division from university or an Upper Credit from college. Plus, good grades in English, Math, and three other related subjects. Knowing how to use a computer is a big plus!
You should have finished your National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and have your certificate or a letter saying you don’t have to do it. Also, being registered with the right professional bodies in Nigeria will help.
There will be tests to see if you are ready. Keep watching the NAF website for when and where these tests will happen. If you give wrong information or try to apply multiple times, you will be disqualified.
Make sure you finish your application before the deadline and print out and sign all the needed documents after applying.
What Papers Do You Need?
If your application is correct, you will need to print these forms:
- A form that your local government will sign, or a Military or Police Officer of the appropriate rank.
- A form that shows your parent or guardian agrees with you joining.
- A form showing that you are of good behavior.
You must have these papers to complete your application, or else your application won’t work.
