The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says he is not acting like a boss or “godfather” to Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara.
Wike also said that the talk about Fubara begging him by kneeling is not true.
He spoke about this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today show on Tuesday.
Wike mentioned that he thinks the governor is not following court rules and is behaving unfairly.
Wike explained, “What does it mean to be a ‘godfather’? Haven’t I let Fubara do his own thing? Why would he need to kneel to me? He did not do such a thing, and what did he even do wrong?”
He added, “I’m saying that the President, who is like the father of our country, shouldn’t be blamed if he tells us how things should be.”
