There was this famous person, Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye. Bobrisky likes to dress in clothes that girls wear. He said he paid a big lawyer some money, about 5 million Naira, to help him with a problem with the government. This problem was about money and the government group called EFCC was involved.
On October 7, 2024, a person who uses the internet a lot and has many followers, Martins Otse, shared a secret audio recording of Bobrisky. People online know Martins as VeryDarkMan, or simply VDM. The recording was actually from May 16, 2024.
In the recording, Bobrisky talked about how the big lawyer, called a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), asked him for 10 million Naira. But Bobrisky couldn’t give this full amount because his bank account was not working, as the EFCC had stopped it.
Bobrisky said, “I was told I could get out of my trouble earlier, maybe next month, if the lawyer gets something called amnesty for me.”
Bobrisky also mentioned, “The SAN asked me for 10 million Naira. I had some money to give, but my account was not working.”
He added, “A helpful person gave me 5 million Naira and we sent this to the big lawyer two weeks back. The lawyer has already asked for my pardon.”
Recently, a news group called DAILY POST shared something else. A famous lawyer, Femi Falana, said he doesn’t know Bobrisky. Falana said he never worked with Bobrisky and that the only person Bobrisky spoke to was his son, Folarin Falana, who is also known as Falz.
