“Our player, Franck Mawuena, has been asked to play for the Togo team in their important 2025 African Cup of Nations games against Algeria this month,” Remo Stars announced on X.

This season, Mawuena has played in four games for coach Daniel Ogunmodede’s team in the Nigerian Premier Football League. During these games, he scored one goal and helped a teammate score another.
Last season, the 31-year-old scored five goals in the NPFL.
