In that game, Sodiq Ismail and Frank Mawuena scored the goals for Remo Stars.
This season, the team led by Daniel Ogunmodede has not lost any game in the NPFL.
Meanwhile, at the New Jos Stadium, former champions Plateau United lost 2-1 to Niger Tornadoes.
Niger Tornadoes scored first with goals from Ifeanyi Okechukwu and Kufre Ebong. Later on, Pam Samuel scored one goal for Plateau United.
