“They Claim I Worship the Devil” – Rema

Must Read

Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, who everyone knows as Rema, shared the funniest and craziest story he has heard about himself online.

The singer of the hit song ‘Calm Down’ said that the wildest story he has seen about himself is people saying he is “a devil worshiper.”

Rema talked about this during an episode of the ‘Kids Take Over’ podcast.

During the podcast, the host asked: “What’s the most unbelievable and untrue thing you’ve seen online about you?”

Rema answered, laughing: “They say I worship the devil. It’s so crazy. I didn’t reply to it because it doesn’t matter. It’s just a waste of time.”

Rema explained that the symbols he uses in his art come from Edo culture, and they are not satanic.

He also talked about his work with the famous Canadian artist, Drake, in 2020. They worked on a song called ‘Mention Me,’ which unfortunately got leaked.

Rema said, “I’m very happy to work with a legend like Drake. I believe we will make a huge hit if we take the time to create something really strong.”
