Must Read

Here’s the rewritten blog post using simple English and making it easy to understand:

The Police in Osun State have caught seven people for having parts of human bodies.

The police told this to reporters while showing the suspects at their headquarters in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The people they caught are Johnson Daniel, Adetunji Okunade, Olaniyan Azeez, Balogun Temitope Asimiyu, Oladapo Hammed, Kazeem Rasak, and Asaka Rauf.

Talking to reporters, the Deputy Police Spokesman, Giwa-Alade Emmanuel, said they found bone pieces, a woman's underwear, and some notebooks with the suspects.

He said, “We arrested these people because we got good information from someone that Johnson Daniel, a mortuary worker at Ipetu-Ijesa, sells parts of dead bodies to native healers whose names are above.

“These people use the body parts from Johnson Daniel for different rituals. Daniel also said he and another mortuary worker, Adetunji Okunade, sold leftover water that was used for cleaning dead bodies to native healers.

“When we investigated further, we found pieces that look like human skulls at the homes of Asaka Rauf and Oladapo Hammed. We also found a woman's underwear and a notebook with ritual instructions at Balogun Temitope Asimiyu's home.”

Giwa-Alade said the suspects are now in court.

The police also showed five other people, Taiwo Adekunle, Adebayo Opeyemi, Hasan Ibrahim, Oba Wasiu, and Olajide Oladapo, who they caught for robbery.

When they were caught, the police found a Ford Jeep with the registration number SMK945OS, a Hunter motorcycle with the registration number WWD604QF, an empty cartridge shell, an iPhone, and a magnet.
