Bauchi Governor Alleges APC Infiltration of Rivers PDP with Moles

Must Read

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State says that the APC party is putting secret agents inside the PDP party in Rivers State to cause problems.

The governor believes that the APC is trying to create fights within the PDP for their own gain.

Governor Mohammed said these things during a visit from the PDP Board of Trustees on Wednesday.

This visit happened only 24 hours after the National Working Committee of the party visited Governor Mohammed. The governor is also the head of the PDP Governors Forum.

Governor Mohammed is worried about the fight between the current Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the old governor, Nyesom Wike. Wike now works for the APC government.

Governor Mohammed said, “We need to come together. It is confusing for some of us, but we can solve this problem with God’s help, and we will find a way. That is why we have this issue.

“The PDP, with its experience in running the government, is being challenged. This problem was made by the APC.

“The APC wants us to be disorganized; they made this problem. They always want to know what’s happening inside our party.

“And you can see that even Wike, who is in both the APC and PDP, is doing very well. The APC doesn’t have people as good as our members, and that’s why they chose him and gave him a big role to play. To us, it’s a compliment.”

However, Governor Mohammed promised that they are working hard to bring the party together. He said, “We will not sacrifice the peace and unity of our great party.”

Senator Adolphus Wabara, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, praised Governor Mohammed for his efforts to fix the problem. He said the Board of Trustees will support his work.

Wabara said that the Board plans to meet with the two sides in Rivers State to solve the problems.

Wabara also said that he is unhappy with the ongoing issues in the PDP, especially with the National Working Committee and the leadership problems in Rivers State.

He added, “We are not happy with what’s happening in the Party, and I think Nigerians are also not happy with what’s happening in the PDP, especially in Rivers State.”
