Wes Brown, a former Manchester United player, says that Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy at the club will always be remembered.
Even though Ronaldo’s second time at the club did not end as people had hoped, his time there is still important.
Brown hinted that Ronaldo might come back to Manchester United if he gets the chance.
Ronaldo, who is 39 years old and has won the Ballon d’Or five times, first joined Manchester United in 2003.
He played there for six seasons, winning his first Ballon d’Or and becoming one of the best players in the world.
Ronaldo then moved to Real Madrid, where he became even more famous, and later to Juventus in 2018, where he continued to do well.
In 2021, Ronaldo returned to Manchester United like a fairy tale. However, he had a disagreement with the team’s manager, Erik ten Hag, and left the club in 2023 to join Al-Nassr, a club in Saudi Arabia.
Wes Brown, who played for Manchester United for 15 years and won five Premier League titles, thinks that Ronaldo could come back to the club — either as a player or in another role.
“You can never say never when it comes to Ronaldo returning to Manchester United in some form. It was sad how things ended the second time he left because he was one of the best players for United. The ending wasn’t great, and I think he could come back to make up for that,” Brown said (via GOAL).
“Even in his first season back, Ronaldo scored over 20 goals. His exit was dramatic, but it would be great if he could return in some way,” added Brown.
