In Yobe State, four people have died from a bad stomach problem called acute diarrhea in an area called Gujba Local Government Area.
The Health Boss, Dr. Lawan Gana, told the news about this in Damaturu on Monday.
Dr. Gana said the sickness was found in two places called Jangalawaji and Tadandara in Gujba Ward.
He said these two villages were hit by floods not long ago.
The Health Boss also said they have taken samples from the sick people to test them.
He told everyone not to be scared because the government is working hard to fix the problem.
Dr. Gana also said there’s no proof of cholera in Gujba and Ngelzarma, only test results can confirm it.
