Nigerian Cinemas to Reduce Movie Ticket Prices to N1000

Must Read

Great news for movie lovers in Nigeria! The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) is making World Cinema Day on September 21, 2024, extra special with cheaper movie tickets.

Ope Ajayi, the National Chairman of CEAN, said they want to thank everyone who goes to the movies and to get more people excited about watching films in cinemas.

On World Cinema Day, you can buy movie tickets for just N1,000. Normally, tickets cost around N4,000, so this is a big discount!

This event is happening all over Nigeria for the second time. Last year, it brought in many movie fans, and this year, it’s expected to attract even more people, making it easy for everyone to enjoy a movie.

Ajayi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that this isn’t just a thank-you to moviegoers. It’s also a chance to get more people to visit cinemas.

Cheap tickets on World Cinema Day mean families and friends can have a great time without spending too much money.

Last year, Nigerian box reported that 21,500 people went to the cinemas on the first World Cinema Day. Ajayi thinks even more people will join this year because the tickets are affordable.
