Victor Osimhen says there is no competition between him and the other forwards in Galatasaray, reports DAILY POST.
Two weeks ago, Osimhen joined the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan from Napoli.
He will play with other famous forwards like Mauro Icardi, Michy Batshuayi, and Burak Yilmaz. “I knew Galatasaray was a good team before I came. I want to help the team as much as I can. There is no competition between us and the center forwards,” he told the club’s official website.
“Icardi is very experienced in football. Batshuayi is also a great and dangerous forward. I can learn a lot from them. I think we will work together well.”
In his first game with Galatasaray, Osimhen made an assist in their win against Caykur Rizespor on Saturday night.
He talked about their big 5-0 win at RAMS PARK.
“First of all, I am very happy to be here. This is my first time in this city. We met our fans.
“What we experienced was a wonderful feeling. The match was very important. Winning with such a big score in our first match was very valuable.
I am happy here. We want to keep playing like this and win every match,” he added.
