The new leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State have started a new project. They have made a team of 13 people to help make everyone in the party get along and work together.
The head of this project is a man named Austin Nwachukwu. He wants everyone in the party to become friends and work as one big team. He believes this will make the party stronger and able to help the state of Imo better.
When Austin Nwachukwu started the project at the State Office in Owerri, he said he wants the PDP to be the best choice for the people of Imo. He wants the people to trust PDP to take care of the state and bring good changes.
Austin also said that this team has to make sure everyone is happy and ready to help the party. He hopes this will help the PDP win in the next state elections in 2027.
The head of the party in the state asked the team to make sure everyone in the party who has been unhappy feels better and is welcomed back into the main group. He also asked them to bring in more people to join the PDP.
The leader of the team, Ben Duru, promised that the team will do the job well. He said the PDP in Imo is like a big family where sometimes people don’t agree, but they still care about the group. He believes everyone will stay loyal to the party.
Ben also said that if someone didn’t win this time, they can try again next time and maybe win even bigger. He promised that the team will work hard and give their report in less than a month.
In a statement, the party’s public speaker, Lancelot Obiaku, said that the team needs to find out who is unhappy and talk to them to make peace. The goal is to make everyone in the party feel included and united.
Many important people from the party attended the start of this project, showing their support.
