The police spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, shared this news with the DAILY POST.
He said the Kano State Police Team made a big step forward in finding the kidnapped boy, Muhammad Nasir Jamilu.
Kiyawa explained, “The boy was taken from Sharada Quarters, Kano. They moved him to Gwarzo Town in Gwarzo Local Government Area. The kidnappers kept him there and asked for ten million naira (₦10,000,000) as ransom.”
After talking, the family paid three hundred thousand naira (₦300,000) first, with more money to be paid later.
When the police got the report, the Kano State Police Commissioner, Salman Dogo Garba, told his team to save the boy and catch the kidnappers.
The police detectives arrested three suspects: Hisbullahi Salisu, Hassan Ali Rabiu, and Hassan Aliyu.
They also saved the boy without any injuries. He was taken to Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital in Kano and then returned to his parents.
