Mr. Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), said the new Abuja Industrial Park will bring 40,000 jobs and help Nigeria’s economy grow. This park is being built by Zeberced Group.
He said these things when he visited the site in the Idu Industrial Zone, Abuja. He looked happy with what he saw at the park and promised to tell President Bola Tinubu about it.
Wike said the project is amazing and will help the economy and give jobs to young people in the FCT.
“I think the park will make more than 40,000 jobs. Any government would want to support such a project. After seeing this place, I believe it will help our economy grow.
This is the first time I’ve seen something like this in the whole country. It’s like a wonderland, and we appreciate it,” he said.

Wike also praised Zeberced Group for doing a good job with the park. He liked that the company labels all their products, like pipes and roofing sheets, as made in Nigeria.
“If the stuff they make is good quality, people will buy it, even people from other countries.
Quality is key, and we are lucky to have companies committed to making things in Nigeria,” Wike said.
He thanked the company for wanting to finish the park and for planning to improve the road to the park.
Wike promised that the FCT Administration will help get the road project done. He believes the new road will help bring more growth to the Idu District.
Wike also promised good security and invited more people to invest in making things locally.
Kurt, from Zeberced Group, said the park is being built on 250 hectares of land and will be a free zone. It already has 208 workshops.
He said the park will help small and medium-sized businesses too.
“We are already making things like concrete, plastic and pipes, and roofing sheets at the park. This project will help our nation’s economy a lot,” he added.
