EFCC Apprehends 14 Alleged Fraudsters in Benue

Workers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Makurdi have caught 14 people they believe were doing bad things on the internet. This happened at the Federal Low Cost Housing Estate in Makurdi, Benue.

The EFCC Spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, shared this news on Friday in Abuja.

He said these arrests happened because they got good information about what these people were doing.

The people caught are named Austine Okwori, Osita Valentine, Skott King-David, Thomas Ifebuche, Akor Oche, Henry Adah, Scott Inalegwu, Ogbu Alpha, Samuel Moses, and Ogbonna Ckukwuaogwu.

The others are Mustapha Adinoye, Sylvanus Ogbu, Emmanuel Adamu, and Samuel Otene.

They found phones, laptops, and charms with these people.

Oyewale said that these people will go to court once the investigation is finished.
