CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers – Simple Recap

Edo Queens made it to the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers after a 2-1 win against Inter D’Abidjan on Tuesday night.

Emem Essien scored the first goal for Edo Queens in the seventh minute.

Then, Blessing Illivieda scored another goal, making it 2-0 in the 34th minute.

Inter D’Abidjan scored one goal from a penalty by Adjoua Niamien just one minute after the second half started.

In another semi-final match, Ainonvi from Benin Republic won 1-0 against Etincelle from Burkina Faso.

Edo Queens and Ainonvi will play against each other in the final at the Stade de la Paix on Friday.
