The police in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, found a Toyota Corolla car with the registration number ABC 258 LD. This car was stolen at gunpoint.
The car was taken on May 2nd from Kuje-airport road. After some effort, the police tracked it down and recovered it on Saturday, August 17.
SP Josephine Adeh, a police spokesperson, shared this information in a statement on Sunday.
She mentioned that the suspected thief, Micheal Uke, was caught when the car was found at Ifego Guest Inn located in the Jabi area of Abuja.
According to the police, Uke had changed the car’s registration number to AGD 146 JP. When they searched, they found a Point of Sale (POS) machine, a knife, glass dissolving chemicals, a military hat, and the car’s original registration number plate.
