Cyriel Dessers scored a goal and helped with another one in Rangers’ 2-0 win over St. Johnstone in the Scottish League Cup on Saturday.
Even though the Light Blues had a tough time and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League earlier in the week, they played really well at Hampden Park.
Dessers didn’t start the game. He came in after the break, replacing Danilo.
About 60 minutes into the game, Dessers scored the first goal for Rangers with help from his teammate Rabbi Rotondo.
A little later, in the extra time, Dessers passed the ball to Ross McCausland, who scored the second goal.
This season, Dessers has already scored four goals in five games for the team managed by Philippe Clement.
