Sports Minister John Enoh said they will choose a new head coach for the Super Eagles before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.

Finidi George quit the job in June, so they need someone new.

The Super Eagles will play against Benin Republic and Rwanda in September for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

The Super Eagles, who have won three African championships, will play against the Cheetahs at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 7.

They will then play against Amavubi at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali three days later.

Enoh said on Wednesday on Channels TV show, Politics Tonight, “We will pick someone soon.”
