• Talk about how the opposition can address Tinubu

A former governor of the state of Jigawa and the head of the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP), Alhaji Sule Lamido, has asked the former party leaders who deserted other parts to return to the PDP to recover power in 2027.

He withdrew that the opposition will not succeed in fighting President Bola Tinubu for emotion and anger.

Going to several groups of Jigawa's PDP chapters, who had breakfast with him in Bamaina, his community in the Local Government of Birninkudu, lick insisted that it is only PDP that has the capacity and capabilities to defeat President Tinubu if to gather its members and strengthen again.

Lamido said that the majority of current bosses in other parties were members of the PDP, and some of them chosen in the public offices of choice on the party platform.

He particularly urged former governors Nasir El-Rufai of the state of Kaduna, Peter Obi, Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso and the rest to return to the PDP and join forces with former presidents and vice presidents to save the Nigeria and the Nigerians of the current administration.

“You cannot succeed in fighting Tinubu for emotion; for anger or trying to take revenge, it is not possible. It is better for all the leaders and leaders of the other opposition parties to return home (PDP) and join the remaining family members to achieve the desired objectives.

“Return to your home, there is no shame to return home. Gather the members of the initial and trusted family with which he achieved and provided good government in the country between 1999 and 2015.

“When a country is going through difficulties and seeks a path to follow, it does not lose its vision based on its personal way, in terms of what you feel of a government or institutions. Therefore, panic measures will not help us.

“We need to be more reflective, sober and honest with ourselves when looking at the country. Look what it was before this government, are we better now than under PDP? The answer is no; we are worse.

“Then, please return wherever I was.

Lick praised the leaders, members and legislators of the PDP for their patriotism and forecast and for remaining in the party to work for the interest of the people, particularly the social and economic welfare of the common man.
